Tara, the owner of Connections Relational Therapy, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over twenty years experience in helping families improve their relationships and reach their goals. Tara has worked in inpatient, community-based, and outpatient therapy settings, and is trained in Structural Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Strategic Family Therapy. Tara utilizes her training to help her clients improve by relying on their own strengths to achieve their goals.
Tara earned her Masters Degree in Marriage in Family Therapy in 2005 and has served families through evidence-based practices upon graduating. She has worked intensively with adjudicated youth and their families through Multisystemic Therapy. She has worked with adolescent groups doing Aggression Replacement Training. Tara has several years experience in supervision of therapists as well as university interns. She has been a licensed marriage and family therapist since 2010. Amy is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapy with almost 8 years of experience working with individuals and families. She has worked in community-based treatment, facilitated therapeutic groups for teens and adolescents, and has several years of experience as a clinical supervisor. Amy is skilled in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Structural Therapy, Strategic Therapy, and Systems Theory. She enjoys working with teens, adults, couples, and families.
Amy graduated from Messiah University in 2014 with a Masters Degree in Counseling, with a concentration in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. Upon graduation, Amy worked with families and teens through evidence-based treatment programs. She has worked with adjudicated youth and their families through Multisystemic Therapy. She worked with adolescent groups through Aggression Replacement Training. She has been a National Certified Counselor (NCC) since 2014. She is a professional member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys sewing, yoga, reading, watching movies with her fiancé, and spending time with friends and family.                                             Adrianne Robbins, LSW, MSW
Adrianne is a licensed social worker with over 15 years of experience partnering with youth, adults, and families in different clinical settings and the criminal justice system. Adrianne began her career in the mental health field in 2006 as a counselor at girls’ and boys’ residential programming in State College, PA. She then worked locally as a Probation Officer with a focus on restorative justice including the advocation for youth, their families, and adults on supervision. Adrianne spear-headed department changes to include evidence-based programming. She trained local professionals in Motivational Interviewing and facilitated therapeutic groups with both adults and youth.
Adrianne earned her undergraduate degree from Penn State University in Human Development and Family Studies and graduated from Temple University with a master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in clinical social work. Adrianne is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Systemic Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. She enjoys working with teens, adults, couples, and families.

Randy graduated from James Madison University in 2010 with a master’s degree in psychology. Upon graduation, he worked with families and teens through the home and school-based programs as well as evidence-based treatment programs and has worked with adjudicated youth and their families through Multisystemic Therapy. He has facilitated adolescent groups and family systems through Trauma Focused therapy, works to address concerns and barriers resulting from past trauma and extensive family conflict. He also served as a program director and clinical lead for inpatient services dealing with delinquent behaviors and family conflicts. She has worked in both private practice and inpatient mental healthcare settings and enjoys the dynamics of both. She has done extensive work and education in both the Amish/Mennonite community and urban settings and is committed to supporting the mental and emotional health of all lifestyles. Rebecca specializes in codependence and family system issues and is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as structural, experiential, and strategic modalities. Rebecca is committed to providing supportive and practical care without judgment.
She also works in HR for a central Pennsylvania healthcare system and has recently earned her doctorate in Organizational and Human Psychology. Rebecca lives on a farm with her 4 children and loves hiking, reading, and running.
                                              
                                            Tricia M. Zechman, MA, LAPC
Tricia is a licensed associate professional counselor. She started with Connections as a masters level intern and after graduating from Messiah University in May 2024 she joined our clinical team. She has been working in the mental health field with children in the home, school, and community settings since obtaining her bachelors degree in biopsychology in 2020. From there, Tricia worked with college students as a counselor at Susquehanna University as well as with couples, children, teens, and adults at Connections. She is excited to be working as a full time counselor at our practice!
Tricia takes a client-centered approach, allowing the client to be the driving force of what is worked on in therapy and supporting you along the way. She employs mindfulness-based practices and focuses on emotions, while also challenging automatic negative thoughts to help create the change you wish to see in your life.
All feelings and experiences are valid – Tricia uses a genuine, compassionate, and empathetic approach to counseling and would love to walk alongside you wherever you are on life’s journey. Tricia is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Shannon is a licensed master’s level social worker. She has been working as a mental health and behavioral health provider since 2020. Prior to working as a therapist, Shannon developed behavior support plans, coached dually diagnosed adults to build therapeutic skills, and offered support to their families and care teams. This multifaceted systems approach to mental health care has greatly impacted Shannon’s foundation as a therapist, and it is important for her to not only understand the client but also the people and environments that they interact with.
Shannon is specialized and certified in treating OCD and other anxiety disorders, ADHD, and trauma. She particularly enjoys working with adults who were misdiagnosed or undiagnosed in their early life. Shannon She also supports many individuals or couples experiencing family disruption or conflict. While she enjoys interacting with all types of family structures, her experience as a parent in a blended family has fueled her passion for working with nontraditional families.
As a trauma-informed clinician, Shannon believes it is important to understand how events have shaped people without letting trauma define who people are. Shannon enjoys gardening, hiking and camping with her family, homesteading, baking gluten free treats, reading, crocheting, playing guitar, and having game nights with friends. Shannon and her husband volunteer in their church’s kids’ ministry, host a small group, and also run a monthly kids’ garden club in their community. Brenda is excited to join our team as a master’s level therapist. Brenda holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University with a concentration in Child Adolescents Therapy, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Argosy University. Brenda also has a certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist, and she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Brenda has almost 10 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, families, and couples in a wide range of ages. She has a wide variety of experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, self-harm/ suicidal ideation, substance/ alcohol use, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, developmental disabilities, grief, trauma and more. Brenda currently provides School-Based Trauma Mental Health services at Williamsport Area Middle school and has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She really enjoys working with children, teens, adults and families. Brenda has experience in group work, chemical dependency, residential settings, and school settings in addition to extensive outpatient clinic experience. She also has training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, strengths-based approaches, and dual disorders of substance use/ mental health.
Brenda utilizes a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, DBT, Psychoeducation, Play Therapy, behavior modification, and mindfulness and relaxation.

Catherine is a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 13 years of experience working with children, teens, and families. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University in 2010 and a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Messiah University in May of 2024. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Having worked in a variety of settings including schools, agencies, and providing in-home therapy, Catherine works with individuals, couples, and families to help guide them in new directions towards change. Her specialties include trauma, autism/ADHD/neurodiversity, attachment issues, grief, depression/mood disorders, anxiety, and relationship and behavioral issues.
Catherine works with clients using a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. She also has extensive training in Ecosystem Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Multisystemic Therapy.

I graduated from Marywood University in 2024 with a Master’s degree in Social Work. During my education I had the privilege of working in alternative schooling and with the unhoused. To support myself financially through school, I worked in group homes for the intellectually disabled. Once I became liscensed I worked in rape crisis and was a victim advocate. All of this has helped me to gain a lot of insight and empathy on sexuality, women, and stigmatized issues.
Together we can discuss what is going on in your body and mind. I have experience working on mindfulness and coping skills with a variety of mental health including depression, anxiety, queer issues, trauma, and PTSD. Together we can go deeper and examine what is heaviest on your heart in a safe environment. Life is complex, busy, and can be filled with trauma. Terri has a master’s degree in Human Services Delivery from Lincoln University and a master’s degree from Messiah University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has an eclectic approach to providing therapy often utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. Terri is also a licensed behavioral specialist and has obtained certificates in trauma therapies for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

He is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring his approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. His work often focuses on supporting clients through anxiety, depression, and life transitions, while fostering emotional clarity and personal autonomy.
Dylan earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2025 and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2023. Prior to entering the mental health field, he served in the United States Marine Corps, where he cultivated resilience, leadership, and a deep appreciation for camaraderie. He also spent time working in retail, food service, and warehousing. These experiences shaped his respect for grit, hard work, and the diverse paths people take in life.
Outside of counseling, Dylan enjoys spending time with his family and children. His hobbies include outdoor activities, golf, exercise, reading, gaming, and relaxing with a good TV show. He brings a grounded, empathetic presence to his work and strives to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.
